Pat, our training coordinator, commented that Corey was easy-going, and flexible, fun to be around. He was also enthusiastic, had no complaints and had a great "get 'er done" attitude, which is very typical of our veterans.

Minnesota native Joe S. was looking for a career change, but he wasn't sure when the right time would be for him to make a move. He started his training a last year and with our flexible and customizable scheduling, we're able to let Joe take care of his business while he went to school. Now he's got a job at Schneider waiting for him.

Gordon K from Cumberland WI came in looking for a new path and he knew that getting his CDL was a safe bet to a safe and rewarding career. He took our 200 Hour Professional Tractor trailer course and passed his first road test. Now he's choosing between 3 different companies for work.

Interstate Truck Driving School owner Bill Collins drove to a come from behind Victory in the Interstate Racing Corvette at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans LA this past Saturday. Bill had never driven at the southern track and so he spent a lot of time on his Drive Skills Simulator to get ready for the competition. That time really paid off since Bill was not able to get to the track in time for any practice.
A representative from Taggart out of Franlin TN will be at our South St Paul campus to discuss driving opportunities and the truck driving industry.

Andrew T. from Hudson WI took our Professional Tractor Trailer Course and is now a Professional Truck Driver. He used his Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits to get the funding for the course and after putting in the work he was able to get his Class A CDL. He's not sure where he wants to go to work yet, but there's no doubt that he'll be one of the safest drivers on the road.

Ed came in to Interstate dedicated to getting his CDL and starting a new job to better his life. That's exactly what he got. He came in, put in the work and the time needed and new he's planning on driving for Schneider.

Bill Collins, the owner of Interstate Truck Driving School, recently traveled to Sebring Florida with the Interstate Racing Corvette. Bill travels all over the country racing with the Sports Car Club of America. Last year he won the Hoosier Super Tour Championship in the Touring 2 Class with his Vette and this year he hopes to defend his title. Sebring was the first race of the year for the Hoosier Super Tour and Bill did pretty well considering he has never competed at the historic track at an old WWII air base.
