In what seems to be a pattern that I'm sure we all are happy to see, diesel prices have dropped for the fifth consecutive week. Which puts it at the loswet cost since June of 2009.

O'Jay just graduated from Interstate's Professional Tractor Trailer program and is now a full fledged truck driver. He's got the 160 Hour Certificate along with his Class A license and now he can go to work for any of the close to 40 truck driving companies that have hired our students.

Abdourazak M. from Minneapolis, MN came to Interstate looking for a new career. But what career can offer you good pay, benefits, a retirement plan and not put you in debt for decades? Truck driving. Abdourazak knew this and he decided to become a truck driver. He took our Professional Tractor Trailer program and now he's going to be able to get a job with any of the close to 40 truck driving companies we work with. Currently he's looking to drive for either Schneider or Swift.
Kristopher Gordon from West Side Transport out of Cedar Rapids, IA will be visiting our South St Paul location to talk about the opportunities they have for drivers. We have had many students go to West Side after graduating and have come back with great things to say.

Fox 9 News stopped by our South St. Paul campus on Wednesday to discuss putting 18 year olds behind the wheel of a big rig to drive interstate. Now this has not gone into effect quite yet, but it's something that could be happening soon and it's a topic that has the industry talking.

It's may not be officially winter yet, but I'm sure you can feel the change in temps when you go outside. Here in Minnesota, we're in full "Winter-Mode" now that we have freezing temps along with snow and sometimes even icy roadways. So we thought why not take the bull by the horns and start helping the truck driving community with winterizing trucks. We found a great article from Fleet Owner that tackles this topic prefectly.

Veteran Daniel B. from Chisago City, MN just graduated from Interstate's 160 hour professional tractor trailer program. He came in with a great attitude and passed his first test after trusting our system. Now he has a CDL and a certificate and is going to start with Werner Enterprises next month.
