Veteran David T. is now a graduate from Interstate and a new driver for Werner Enterprises. We are so proud of him. He asked some really great questions and soaked in all of the information. He came in using his Post 9/11 GI Bill and now he's on his way to a new career with Werner.

ARGUMENT
I. THE FINAL RULE DOES NOT IMPLEMENT THE STATUTORY MANDATE TO RECORD A DRIVER’S HOURS OF SERVICE AND CHANGES IN DUTY STATUS AUTOMATICALLY
2 THE FINAL RULE FAILS TO ENSURE THAT ELDS ARE NOT USED TO HARASS DRIVERS NOT NECESSARY TO FURTHER THE REGULATORY SCHEME

The new Federal Entry Level Driver Training Rules were the main focus of the meetings. The CVTA is working on developing a training curriculum to meet these new standards.
Advanced Training Systems displayed a new version of their powerfull simulators. Hopefully Interstate Truck Driving School will be getting some updated systems by the end of the year.
