HANNOVER, GERMANY. Once skeptical about the practicality of electric-powered commercial vehicles, Daimler Trucks is now planning to bring the Fuso eCanter to the U.S. market next year and to follow with production of electric light trucks from its van group by 2018.

Interstate Truck Driving School has a good working relationship with many of the
employees from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Driver and Vehicle
Services Division. We work with DVS staff every day toward the common goal of
preparing safe CDL drivers entering the workplace.
On Tuesday September 13th one of our students witnessed the actions of a DVS
employee that went above and beyond the call of duty. While administering a road
test in one of our vehicles on Cliff Road in Eagan at an intersection with Cliff Lake

Colin K. is now a licensed truck driver and will be starting his new career at Schneider. He came in with no experience and in 6 weeks he was able to pass his first road test, and complete his 160 hours of training.

Beth A. just graduated from Interstate's 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Program and is now ready to start her new career with Halvor Lines. She came in unsure if she'd be able to drive a big rig, but we gave her all the time she needed on our simulators and our backing range for her to feel confident. Sure enough she passed her first road test and cruised through the rest of the program.
