Bill is the founder and sole owner of Interstate Truck Driving School.  He obtained his Class A License in 1975 and has been licensed as a Professional Driving Instructor since 1979.  Bill has trained thousands of students over the years including police officers, firemen, bus drivers, truck drivers, and high school students. He started Interstate Truck Driving School in March of 1998 and is very proud of our Perfect Safety record over that nearly 26 years. 

Bill served with the U. S. Army Combat Engineers in Viet Nam in 1970 & 71 and makes sure that Interstate provides the very best support possible for Veterans while attending our school. Bill operates Interstate Truck Driving School as a very inclusive organization and it is important to him that all are welcome regardless of age, gender, race, religion, disabilities, or political persuasion. 

Bill is married and has three children and six grandsons.  He has raced cars since 1969 and has several championships in road racing and ice racing over the years. He continues to race with the Sports Car Club of America in a Mazda at tracks in the Midwest including Brainerd International Raceway and Road America in Elkhart Lake WI. 

Bill is also actively involved with the Commercial Vehicle Training Association headquartered just outside of Washington, D.C.  He serves on several committees with the CVTA and spends time in Washington connecting with Elected Officials to help them understand the importance of training focused on safety.
