Halvor Lines Chosen to Host "The Wall That Heals" in 2017

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) have announced they will continue their partnership in 2017 to bring "The Wall That Heals" to communities across America.  Halvor has been selected to host the Memorial Wall later this year from July 20th to July 23rd in Superior, WI.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is of the most visited capital, with more than 5.6 million visitors each year.  However, many Americans have not been to visit what has become known to many as "The Wall".  Bringing The Wall to communities provides thousands of veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities.

"Halvor Lines is honored to have been awarded the opportunity to host "The Wall That Heals" in Superior in 2017.  We are proud supporter of military veterans and their families and look forward to sharing this experience with our community" said Jon Vinje, president and CEO of Halvor Lines, Inc.

As a Vietnam Veteran that has comrades on the Wall, Interstate Truck Driving School owner Bill Collins applauds the commitment made by Halvor Lines. Bill commented recently, "We are proud that many of our students are able to take advantage of the great career opportunity with a company like Halvor Lines where "Support the Troops" is more than just a slogan.  Our veterans deserve the best opportunities and Halvor delivers."
