Truck Driver Training News

Just about every week we are blessed with a visit from a former student.  Mark T. stopped by to show us his good looking truck he drives for Stevens Transport.  He is doing very well with them and is now a trainer himself.  He tells us Stevens is very safety conscientious and that fits well with Mark’s attitude toward safe driving.

I had a difficult time finding the right truck driving school to get into the business.  After choosing Interstate Truck Driving School, I had my CDL in a little over a week and I was on my way to a good job!  Everything I learned here two years ago is still true today.

I would like to thank Interstate Truck Driving School for all that they have done with helping me start my new career as a truck driver. I was nervous at first wondering how I was going to drive such a big truck when the biggest thing I had driven before was a van. I liked the way they started me out in the smaller trucks and moved up to the bigger stuff progressively. Because of this my training went fast and I was surprised I had mastered a ten speed in so little time. The instructors were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend Interstate Truck Driving School to anybody that asks me where they should go for their training. Thanks very much guys!

Sabas T. drove in from Stillwater to take his training.  Here is what he had to say after completing his training:

When I first started I did not know anything about driving a truck or the rules.  As I went through the classes the driving and everything else I gained more knowledge, I passed my road test and got my CDL Class A license with endoresments.  I am very happy I came to Interstate Truck Driving School and would recommend it to anyone.  The instructors and staff are very helpful, have a sense of humor, and very knowledgeable.  Thank you for helping me change my life and career.  Special thanks to Pat Sr., I will never forget, bless you all.

We heard from Sabas recently, he is driving for Schneider out of Milwaukee WI.  We are looking forward to the day he stops by with his Schneider truck to let us know how he is doing.

Jodi M. from Oakdale Minnesota needed to get her Class A CDL license.  She was comfortable with driving trucks with trailers but needed to spend the time to learn how to back them up.  Our training program identifies the individual needs of each students and provides them with the training that will best help them.  Jodi was pleased with how we helped her:

T. W. drove in from Waconia for his training.  Here are his comments:

The people here were so very nice and a pleasure to be around.  They were always looking out for the students to make sure we were understanding every aspect of the training.  They focused on getting the CDL and then giving us the tolls to get to the next step and be able to land a good driving job.  I would recommend this school to everyone I know.  I enjoyed every minute I was here!!  Thank you so much!!!
