A representative from TMC Trucking Company will be here on Monday July 26th at 5:00 PM to visit with our students and prospective students.    Several of our students have gone to TMC and they like the high pay based on performance.  This is a great opportunity to get all of your questions about TMC answered.  They are the largest flat bed carrier in the country and they are based out of Des Moines Iowa.  Check back to see when the next TMC event will be held.

A recruiter from Werner Transportation will be here in our office on July 27th  at 5:00 p.m. to visit with students.  Werner is one of the few trucking companies that have paperless logs approved by the Federal Dept of Transportation.  This is a great opportunity to meet with a representative from Werner to get all of your questions answered.  Job applications for Werner will be accepted prior to enrolling in class. 

Werner will then get back to you to let you know if they will offer you a job.  After you get a positive response from Werner you can sign up for our 160 hour Professional Tractor Trailer Training Program and get started on your training.  You can finish up in as little as 3 weeks and then head off to Werner and get to work!

Bryan C. stopped by with his co-driver to show off his truck.  Bryan has a dedicated assignment to haul for 3M.

Mike S. stopped by recently to show off his Werner truck.  Mike took his training here right after he got out of the service and now he is taking advantage of his G.I. Bill benefits.

Steve L. from Burtrum had experience with Class B trucks with mulit speed transmissions but needed out Basic Tractor Trailer Program to get his A license and some experience with trailers. 

“Very good classroom instruction.  Very good instructors.  I like the flexibility of the school.  Getting the CDL road test done early followed by learning how to drive in the real world is the best way to go.  Pre trip, airbrake prep,a nd session with Tim was very helpful.”

I had a difficult time finding the right truck driving school to get into the business.  After choosing Interstate Truck Driving School, I had my CDL in a little over a week and I was on my way to a good job!  Everything I learned here two years ago is still true today.

I was nervous at first wondering how I was going to drive such a big truck when the biggest thing I had driven before was a van.
