TMC Recruiter Visit – July 9th @ 10:30am

A representative from TMC Trucking Company will be at our South St. Paul location to visit with our students and prospective students. Several of our students have gone to TMC and they like the high pay based on performance.

This is a great opportunity to get all of your questions about TMC answered. They are the largest flat bed carrier in the country and they are based out of Des Moines Iowa.

Werner Recruiter Visit – March 26th @ 10AM

Mike Kellis from Werner Transportation will be here in our office to visit with new drivers. Werner is one of the few trucking companies that have paperless logs approved by the Federal Dept of Transportation. This is a great opportunity to meet with a representative from Werner to get all of your questions answered. Job applications for Werner will be accepted prior to enrolling in class.DSC_6404

Werner will then get back to you to let you know if they will offer you a job. After you get a positive response from Werner you can sign up for our 160 hour Professional Tractor Trailer Training Program and get started on your training. You can finish up in as little as 3 weeks and then head off to Werner and get to work!

ATA Slams New HOS Rules In Court

The American Trucking Association (ATA) has been on the defensive in recent days, trying to derail efforts to change the current Hours Of Service rules. The ATA claimed that the changes made to driver HOS Rules in 2011 as “driven” by an agenda, and that “The existing rules have a proven track record, and the agency’s purported reasons for tinkering with them were baseless.”

Federal Agents Raid Trucking Company For Forcing Drivers To Falsify Logbooks

The small family owned Tractor-trailer outfit Beam Brothers has been around since 1990. They have maintaned a very friendly and caring presence in their comunnity. Being Part of the Rockham Educational Foundation and claims them selves as a “green” company.

Beam Bros. strives to be a “green” company.  Recycling is encouraged, solar power is used to light signage and all shop facilities are heated with truck waste oil.  Also, the company provides Spotswood High School with a trailer for recycling items.” But i appears that the appearance is only skin deep. Fleet Owner posted a article about the how Beam Bros play innocent everywhere but on the road. (more…)
