Schneider Offering $6,000 Sign On Bonus For Team Drivers

Wednesday, April 24th, 2013

news

Earlier this week, Schneider National announced that they will be offering a new sign on bonus for teams. $6000.00 to be exact. Schneider doesn’t always offer sign on bonuses, so when a company offers six grand for new team drivers, anyone looking to get into to trucking should give Schneider a chance.

Schneider released the following statement about the new bonus.

“In addition to adding new solo freight, Schneider has won a lot of team freight business. For a limited time (March 1 – June 30, 2013), Schneider is offering a $6000.00 sign-on bonus for recent driving school grad teams ($3,000 per driver). Team driving positions are the highest compensated in Schneider’s fleet. It’s a great opportunity to work with a firend, relative or a loved one – or even two drivers who just met at driving school and hit it off well – while making a lot of money.”

This is a amazing opportunity to make a lot of money with one of the countries most popular carriers. The sign on bonus is on top of Schneider already offering up to $6,000 in tuition reimbursement. So when can you talk to someone from Schneider about this bonus? Bryan from Schneider will be at Interstate’s St Paul campus on April 15th @ 11am

MN Governor Dayton Wants New Tax On Trucking

Wednesday, March 13th, 2013

news

Overdrive Online has a very informative article on trucking interests in Minnesota that are hoping to melt plans by the governor to implement a new tax on trucking.

A state budget is being offered up by Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Gov. Mark Dayton, which would make a range of business-to-business and consumer services subject to the state sales tax. This would include putting a state 5.5% sales tax on trucking services, but would also lower the state sales tax rate from its existing 6.875% rate. The goal, proponents say, would be to close a more than $1 billion deficit the state faces. The plan also calls for lowering corporate tax rates and freezing business property taxes.

95% of our fleet are experienced truck driving professionals — 1,807 with a million or more accident-free miles under their belts. Another 2,324 experienced truck drivers joined us this year — and nearly a thousand of them came back after trying other companies.

Whatever you’re looking for, Schneider delivers.

All drivers are not created equal. By being big where it matters and small where it counts, Schneider is able to offer several types of driving careers to suit your needs and exceed your expectations.
