I had an excellent trainer; Pat Sr. He made sure you knew what you were doing and understood how to do things correctly. Pat is very understanding if you have never driven a big truck before and he makes it easy to improve. Pat should get a raise!

The people here were so very nice and a pleasure to be around. They were always looking out for the students to make sure we were understanding every aspect of the training. The in depth classroom training with Bill and the one on one behind the wheel training with Pat Sr. gave me the knowledge, training, and confidence to make it in the real world. When I started my training with Interstate I was still working part time and Pat Jr. was able to schedule my training around my work schedule. I would highly recommend Interstate Truck Driving School to anyone who wants to become a truck driver.

At the end of every shift with a commercial vehicle, you are required to do what is called a “Post Trip Inspection”. This inspection is to make sure any defects are corrected before the vehicle is used again. Check out Rule 396.11 at www.fmcsa.dot.gov
