J. P. from Cannon Falls completed his 160 hour Professional Tractor Trailer Program just before Thanksgiving.  We are going to miss him with his dry wit but we expect he will stop by to visit as many of our students do.  Here are his comments:

“Interstate Truck Driving School was very good to me.  The classroom is great and the instruction is well paced, not overwhelming so it was easy to absorb.  The instructors in the trucks were very professional and easy going.  Thanks!”

Testimonial by N.K. from Hilltop, MN after  finishing her Professional Tractor Trailer Training Program.

I feel I received the best training possible at Interstate. They trained me to fit my needs so that I was able to feel confident in every aspect of truck driving. The instructors were all patient, friendly, informative, and extremely supportive. This has been the greatest choice for me and I would recommend this school to everyone! Thank you very much Guys!!!!!

N.K. stopped by recently to show us her “new” truck.

The name of the company she is driving for is very appropriate!

No Experience Required

B. B. from Cottage Grove is one of our real success stories.  He came to us looking for a new start, a new beginning.  This was an opportunity he needed and with the help of his family, he was given that opportunity.  It was not all that easy for him.  He worked his butt off and we encouraged him and congratulated him along the way.

And now he is living the dream.  Working max hours driving all accross the United States making a decent living.  We were very happy to see him recently when he stopped by with his truck and co-driver.  We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with B. B. and wish him continued success and a prosperous New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Driving Safely is no Accident

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Interstate Truck Driving School has been in business for over ten years.  We have never had a DOT reportable collision.

Interstate Truck Driving School is all about SAFETY!  Because we put Safety First, we do things differently than any other truck driving school in the country.  We DO NOT crash our trucks BECAUSE we have a program that is SAFER than any other.

We will keep you safe during your training, and, we will teach you how to become a safe truck driver!!!!!!

Come and visit our office in South St. Paul and see for your self what makes us different.  We are not going to let our competition know what we are doing here on our website because we know they keep tabs on us and watch what we do.  So you will have to invest the time to check us out in person and we are sure you will find it worth your time to do so.

R. H. from Excelsior Minnesota is heading off to TMC in Des Moines Iowa.  R. H. really liked our flexible schedule and made these comments when he was finished with the Professional Tractor Trailer Program:

It was enjoyable to learn at my own pace.  I was not pressured to get to certain goals at a set time.
R. H. has a leg up on other new drivers at TMC since we have a truck with a 13 speed transmission for training.  Most other truck driving schools do not have the variety of trucks we have and R.H. now has the advantage over students from other schools when he gets to TMC.  We wish him well and hope to see him stop by with one of those nice looking TMC trucks.

Your Driving Record is Important

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Are there really driving jobs for new drivers with the economy in the toilet?????

The answer is YES, if and only if, you have a good driving record!!!  Here is what we consider a good driving record:

  1. No at fault accidents in the last three years
  2. Not more than one ticket in the last three years
  3. Not more than two tickets in the last five years
  4. Not more than one DWI.
  5. No DWIs in last ten years.

If you meet this criteria, we CAN place you with a good job in the trucking industry as soon as you finish our Professional Tractor Trailer Training Program.  You can start your training anytime, you can attend full or part time, and finish in as little as three weeks or take up to six months.
