ABF Recruiter Visit – South St. Paul – TBA

Saturday, March 10th, 2001

A recruiter from ABF Freight will be at our South Saint Paul office at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 29th to meet with students and answer any questions.  From its origin as a small local carrier in 1923, ABF Freight System, Inc. has been transformed into one of North America’s largest and most experienced motor carriers with local service centers serving all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Guam and Puerto Rico. Globally, the carrier serves 250 ports in more than 130 countries. ABF is best-in-class for safety, security, technology and freight-handling. InformationWeek, CIO, InfoWorld, and BtoB magazines have cited ABF’s strategic use of information technology as exemplary.

ABF® concentrates on national and regional transportation of general commodities freight, involving primarily LTL shipments. General commodities include all freight except hazardous waste, dangerous explosives, commodities of exceptionally high value, commodities in bulk and those requiring special equipment. ABF’s general commodities shipments differ from shipments of bulk raw materials which are commonly transported by railroad, pipeline and water carrier. For more information visit ABF’s WEBSITE or call Darrell at Interstate 651-735-9250.
