Eagan Examiner Saves Toddler

Interstate Truck Driving School has a good working relationship with many of the
employees from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Driver and Vehicle
Services Division. We work with DVS staff every day toward the common goal of
preparing safe CDL drivers entering the workplace.
On Tuesday September 13th one of our students witnessed the actions of a DVS
employee that went above and beyond the call of duty. While administering a road
test in one of our vehicles on Cliff Road in Eagan at an intersection with Cliff Lake
Road, a motorist approached our truck pleading for someone who could perform
the Heimlich maneuver. Without hesitation, DVS employee Chris Graff
immediately sprang into action, jumped out of the truck, ran over to the vehicle in
the other lane and successfully opened the airway of a two year old child that had
been choking.
Interstate Truck Driving School would like to congratulate Chris Graff for
his quick and decisive actions that saved the life of a young child. We are proud to
work with great people like him every day.
